Guillaume Azoulay does not express his art as a filled in outline, but rather, he achieves the subject form, the musculature, the expressions, the eyes, and the
nose, by the subtle changes in the curvature of the line. His work is a flowing display of lines which are bent to portray the movement, the facial characteristics
and even the color. Certain parts of the work seem to appear and disappear with the angle viewed. There is no other artist that achieves the amount of
detail and depth of perception than Azoulay with only the deftly manipulated line.

Guillaume Azoulay has twice been accepted to the permanent archives of the Musee du Louvre in Paris
When at 29 years of age he was the youngest artist to have ever achieved that prestigious honor.
