BiographyAmerican contemporary artist, Joe Correale is a painter and printmaker well-known for his beautiful landscapes and American scenes. Correale΄s works reflect an amazing technical proficiency, a surprisingly wide range of subject material, and more recently, a subtle sense of surrealism. Born and raised in New England, Joe Correale prefers the scenes of the Northeast, in his artworks. In his words: "When I paint, I want to freeze a moment in time that may never again appear exactly that way". Joe Correale studied at the Paier College of Art (formerly the Whitney Art School) and the Yale School of Fine Art. He is also a member of several art associations including the Paint and Clay Club of New Haven, CT, Salmagundi Club in New York, the New England Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Kentucky Watercolor Society, Connecticut Watercolor Society, the Copley Society of Boston, MA, and the Rockport Art Association in Rockport, MA.
